Meet Diana Porter

About Diana

Along with her husband Nate, is co-owner of Salida Mountain Sports. She moved to Colorado from New Hampshire in 1991 to be a ski bum and never left. A book keeper by trade, Diana keeps things running behind the scenes at Salida Mountain Sports. When she’s not crunching numbers or busy being a mother, Diana likes to hike, bike and ski. She also enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with her family. She can often be seen around town with her shadow, aka Truffle the Chocolate Lab.

What’s to Love?

She loves the Talkbacks because they are light enough for the “shrup” (shredding up hill), but rigid enough for a confidence that takes her further than any ski has ever taken her – that could be a good thing or a bad thing, but it’s all in the eye of the beholder . . .
