Blackstrap Hood Balaclava

The balaclava that put Blackstrap on the map. A hinged face panel lets you pull the mask up for warmth or drop it down to breathe while the hood stays in place under your helmet, so you can adjust on the chairlift without taking anything off.

Why We Carry It

It fits cleanly under a helmet, and the face hinge makes it easy to manage on cold, windy lift rides without fumbling with gloves off.

Highlights

• Hinged face panel: Lift it for warmth or lower it to vent without moving the hood.
• Helmet-friendly: Thin, secure fit under a helmet with a contoured neck that tucks under your jacket.
• Four-way stretch: Moves with you and keeps its shape.
• Moisture-wicking and odor-resistant: Stays dry and fresh over a long day.
• Lens-safe: Soft enough to wipe goggles without scratching.
• UPF 50+: Sun protection for bright days on the snow.

Best For

Cold, windy lift rides and storm days at Monarch, plus winter runs and fat bike rides.
