CAMP Corsa Alpine Ice Axe

CAMP Corsa Alpine Ice Axe

The CAMP Corsa Alpine is an ultralight technical ice axe for ski mountaineering and fast alpine objectives. A B-rated chromoly steel head on a hollow aluminum shaft keeps the weight under 10 ounces in the 55 cm length without giving up real bite.

Why We Carry It

When the axe is mostly riding on your pack until the top, ounces matter. The Corsa Alpine keeps the weight down and still has a steel pick.

Highlights

• Ultralight: Just 9.4 oz in the 55 cm length.
• Steel where it counts: A technically rated chromoly steel head and pick.
• Adze included: A small adze for cutting steps when you need to.
• Machined details: The aluminum spike and grip are machined to save weight.
• Leash ready: A hole for leash attachment; leash not included.

Best For

Ski mountaineering, spring couloirs and fast and light alpine climbs, like a spring ski line off the Sawatch 14ers.
