Mini/Water Works Ceramic

Mini/Water Works Ceramic

This is the MSR replacement Marathon ceramic and carbon element for the MiniWorks EX and retired WaterWorks pump water filters. Swap it in when your old cartridge is worn out to get your filter back to full strength.

Why We Carry It

A good pump filter can last for years if you keep fresh elements on hand. We stock these so MiniWorks owners are never stuck.

Highlights

• Ceramic plus carbon: A 0.2 micron ceramic shell strains out bacteria, protozoa and particulates, and a carbon core improves taste.
• Field cleanable: Scrub the ceramic surface on the go to restore flow, no tools needed.
• Long life: Rated for about 2,000 liters, depending on water quality.
• Direct fit: Made for the MiniWorks EX and older WaterWorks filters.
• Know the limits: Protects against bacteria, protozoa, particulates and some chemicals, but not viruses.

Best For

Keeping a MiniWorks EX or WaterWorks pump running for backpacking, paddling and base camps, like a multi-day trip on the Arkansas River.
