The Arkansas River runs right through downtown Salida, and summer here revolves around it. We carry Nyce Kayaks inflatable kayaks and river tubes built for Colorado water, PFDs and life jackets, paddles, pumps, dry bags and the river shoes and sandals from Chaco, Teva and Bedrock that grip wet rock. Rashguards, swimwear and sun protection are in the apparel sections.

New to the river? Stop in and we will tell you which stretches fit your skill level, from the mellow floats in town to Browns Canyon. Everything ships from Salida, Colorado, or pick it up free at the shop on F Street a few blocks from the put in.
