ATK Kevlar Core Leash
The ATK Kevlar Core Leash is an ultralight ski leash for brakeless touring setups. A Kevlar core inside a coiled polyurethane cover keeps your ski attached in a release without adding real weight.
Why We Carry It
If you are saving weight with a brakeless setup, you still need a leash, and this is about the lightest one out there.
Highlights
- Kevlar core: Breaking load of about 120 kg in a leash that weighs around 15 g.
- Coiled design: Stretches to 60 cm and stays compact so it is less likely to snag on branches.
- Universal fit: Works with any ski boot.
- Safety ring: Included ring for boots that cannot take a direct clip, and it lowers the release force.
Best For
Backcountry and skimo skiers running brakeless bindings. Keeps your ski from taking off down a firm spring couloir in the Collegiate Peaks.
