Benchmade Bugout, Axis, Drop Point

Benchmade Bugout, Axis, Drop Point

The Benchmade Bugout is an ultralight folding knife with a 3.24 inch CPM S30V drop point blade and Benchmade's ambidextrous AXIS lock. Originally built for outdoor travel, it has become one of the most popular everyday carry folders around.

Why We Carry It

It's light enough that carrying it is never a question, and the steel and lock are as proven as it gets.

Highlights

• CPM S30V steel: Holds an edge well, resists corrosion and is easy to sharpen, at 58 to 60 HRC.
• Drop point blade: A versatile shape with a strong tip and usable belly for food prep, cord and camp chores.
• AXIS lock: Opens and closes smoothly with one hand from either side and locks up solid.
• Ultralight: The Grivory handle version weighs just 1.85 ounces.
• Deep carry clip: A low profile pocket clip for tip up carry.
• Lanyard hole: Add a lanyard for extra security.
