Black Diamond Distance Carbon FLZ Pole

Black Diamond Distance Carbon FLZ Pole

The Black Diamond Distance Carbon FLZ is a light, adjustable folding trekking pole for people who move fast in the mountains. Carbon shafts keep the weight down, and the Z-Pole fold packs small enough for a running vest.

Why We Carry It

It hits a great middle ground: the packability of a Z-pole with the adjustability of FlickLock, which is what most of our runners and fast hikers end up wanting.

Highlights

• Carbon shafts: 100% carbon fiber keeps weight low and stays strong on steep climbs and long descents.
• Z-Pole folding: Three section design folds quickly and stashes in a vest or pack.
• FlickLock+ adjustment: Change length quickly between climbs, flats and descents.
• Breathable strap: Recycled nylon Distance strap wicks moisture during big efforts.
• Minimal EVA grip: Ultralight foam grip gives secure handling without bulk.
• Swappable tips: Interchangeable rubber Tech Tips let you match traction to the terrain.

Best For

Trail runners, fast hikers and alpine travelers who want packable poles that adjust, from steep climbs on the Sawatch 14ers to rolling trail runs.
