Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z FKT Poles

Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z FKT Poles

The Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z FKT is a full carbon folding pole for mountain runners who move fast and go far. It pairs quick deploying Z-Pole construction with a magnetic quick connect glove strap, so transitions happen without breaking stride.

Why We Carry It

It's the pole we point serious trail runners to when they are tired of fumbling with straps mid race and want a system built around how runners actually use poles.

Highlights

• Magnetic glove strap: The ultralight mesh FKT glove strap links into the pole magnetically and releases with the press of a button.
• Speed cone Z-Pole: Folds and deploys fast and easy.
• 100% carbon fiber: Full carbon shafts at 294 to 324 g per pair depending on length.
• Extended EVA grip: A longer foam grip lets you choke up on steep terrain instead of stopping to adjust.
• Recycled breathable strap: Moisture wicking strap made from recycled materials.
• Tips and baskets included: Interchangeable carbide tech tips with rubber tech tips included, plus low profile and snow baskets.
• Packs small: Folds to 35 to 42 cm, short enough to ride on a running vest.

Best For

Racers, ultrarunners and fast mountain athletes chasing personal records or FKTs, like a quick push along the Monarch Crest.
