Rossignol XP 105 Positrack

Rossignol XP 105 Positrack

The Rossignol XP 105 Positrack is a wide waxless backcountry touring ski built for deeper snow and bigger objectives. The 105mm platform floats while breaking trail in fresh snow but still feels light on long approaches to a hut.

Why We Carry It

For folks who want to go further off the groomers, this is the ski we point to. It floats, it grips and it does not need wax.

Highlights

• Positrack waxless base: Dependable kick and glide with almost no maintenance.
• R-Skin compatible: Click in mohair R-Skins when the climb gets too steep for scales alone.
• 105mm platform: Extra width adds float and stability in ungroomed snow.
• Full metal edges: Better edge hold on firm, wind-scoured slopes.
• Traditional camber: Efficient touring and predictable handling, even with a heavy pack.
• Lightweight core: Balances durability with an easy, efficient feel.

Best For

Off-track touring, rolling backcountry terrain, hut trips and skiers who want a low-maintenance setup that climbs and descends with confidence. A great ski for hut trips in the Sawatch Range.
