Nyce Kayaks Nugget Inflatable Kayak

*Preorder. Expected to arrive at the shop around March 15.

A compact, stable inflatable kayak built for smaller paddlers and smaller water. The Nugget is a straightforward, well-built play boat that works equally well for kids learning to paddle and adults who want a nimble, packable option for creeks and calm rivers.

Highlights

• 1100 denier 0.9mm PVC construction — Heavy duty material for an inflatable at this size. Built to take the abrasion and impact of rocky creek beds and river use without treating it like fragile gear.
• 6" drop stitch floor — A rigid, pressurized floor that gives the boat a solid, responsive feel underfoot rather than the soft, spongy bottom of a basic inflatable. Makes a noticeable difference in stability and paddling efficiency.
• 11.5" tubes — Large diameter tubes for a kayak this size contribute directly to its stability on moving water. Wider tubes mean more buoyancy and a harder-to-flip platform for less experienced paddlers.
• 36" wide by 7'6" long — A short, wide hull that prioritizes stability over speed. Easy to maneuver on technical creek lines and forgiving for newer paddlers learning to read water.
• 14 webbing loops — Versatile rigging options for gear, dry bags, and accessories. More attachment points than you'd expect on a kayak this size.
• 22 pound total weight — Light enough to carry solo to the put-in and packable enough to fit in a bag for transport and storage.
• 240 pound max capacity — Handles an adult paddler with gear or two smaller kids comfortably within the weight limit.

Best for

Low water years! Families, beginners, and recreational paddlers looking for a stable, durable inflatable for smaller creeks, calm rivers, and casual flatwater. A practical option for anyone who wants a capable kayak without the storage and transport challenges of a hardshell.
