Salomon Men's XA Pro 3D V9

Salomon Men's XA Pro 3D V9

The Salomon Men's XA Pro 3D V9 is a workhorse trail running shoe with a long track record of holding up on rocky ground. The V9 adds better grip and longer lasting protection.

Why We Carry It

It is not trendy, it just works. We like it for runners and fast hikers who care more about stability and durability than shaving ounces.

Highlights

• 3D chassis: Keeps your foot aligned on uneven, rocky terrain where ankle rolls happen.
• All Terrain Contagrip: An updated lug pattern with 3.5mm lugs balances grip and ground feel.
• High foot protection: Handles technical terrain without beating up your feet.
• 11mm drop: Moderate cushioning on a higher drop that suits heel strikers and runners coming from road shoes.
• Long term durability: Known for outlasting lighter, faster shoes.

Best For

Trail runners and fast hikers who want a stable, durable shoe for technical, rocky routes, ideally two to three runs a week. Right at home on the rocky Monarch Crest Trail.
