Merrell Men's Moab Speed 2 Hiking Shoe

Merrell Men's Moab Speed 2

The Merrell Men's Moab Speed 2 takes what people like about the Moab and gives it a lighter, trail runner inspired feel. It is a hiking shoe for folks who move quickly, pack light and want flexibility without giving up traction or protection.

Why We Carry It

Plenty of our customers hike fast and don't want a heavy boot. This gives them Moab comfort in a nimbler shoe.

Highlights

• FlexPlate: A light plate adds torsional rigidity and lateral stability while letting the forefoot flex.
• FloatPro foam midsole: Cushion with good energy return that holds up over the miles.
• Vibram TC5+ outsole: 4 mm lugs grip varied terrain and shed debris.
• Padded collar and bellows tongue: More comfort, and they help keep debris out.
• Toe and heel caps: Abrasion resistant synthetic caps add durability.
• Cleansport NXT treatment: Helps control odor naturally.

Best For

Fast hikes, mixed terrain, travel and hikers who prefer a lighter, more agile shoe. Ideal for a quick after work hike up S Mountain.
