ATK Free Raider 15 EVO
The ATK Freeraider 15 EVO is a high-release freeride touring binding for strong skiers who ski wide skis hard in the backcountry. It brings an adjustable DIN 7 to 15 toe, an included Freeride Spacer and 25 degrees of heel rotation in a 395 gram package.
Why We Carry It
For hard-charging skiers who want a pin binding they can trust on big descents, this is the one we hand over. It skis far above its weight.
Highlights
- Adjustable toe release, DIN 7 to 15: The highest release range in the ATK line, and the toe and heel share the load evenly at every setting for more consistent release.
- Freeride Spacer included: Adds a more direct connection between boot and binding for hard-charging descents.
- 25 degree heel rotation: The heel turns up to 25 degrees to absorb shock, then snaps back to center.
- Snowpack Proof System: Aluminum part keeps snow and ice from building up under the toe's moving parts.
- Uphill Hardness Variator: Set how firmly the toe holds your boot in tour mode, no tools needed.
- EVO brake and Magneto flaps: Turn the heel 180 degrees to switch modes one-handed, and magnetic heel flaps are easy to flip with a pole.
- Cam Release and elastic heel: Easy step-in, strong torsional stiffness and 14mm of elastic travel for steady contact in mixed snow.
- Fit options: Included toe shims drop the ramp 4mm, aluminum Power Plates add durability, and 25mm of length adjustment fits different boots.
Best For
Strong freeride tourers and ski mountaineers who want high release values and real power on wide skis without going to a heavy frame binding. Built for skiing steep lines off the Sawatch 14ers.
