ZipFit Espresso Ski Boot Liner

The culmination of years of design and testing with the world's best ski mountaineers, the Espresso is ZipFit's lightest touring liner built for long ski tours and high alpine expeditions where every gram matters. At roughly half the weight of a standard ZipFit, the Espresso delivers the same legendary cork composite heel hold and power transfer in a streamlined, fast-drying package purpose-built for progressive touring boots in the 1,000 to 1,250-gram weight category.

• Half the weight of a standard ZipFit without reducing cork content — ZipFit deliberately chose not to save weight by reducing the OMFit cork composite. Instead they fine-tuned every other component to achieve the weight reduction while preserving the fit and performance that makes ZipFit liners worth carrying. Fit came first.
• OMFit cork composite with three customizable pouches — The active ingredient that doesn't compress or pack out over time. Three cork pouches in each liner behind the tongue and on either side of the instep for a customizable, personalized fit that can always be added to as needed. Dynamic cork that moves into the spaces that matter most for heel hold, foot positioning, and power transfer.
• Kevlar rear cuff pocket with HDPE foam volume reducer — An innovative two-directional stretch Kevlar cuff pocket that holds an included HDPE foam shim for precise volume adjustment at the cuff without creating friction points with the walk mechanism. Stow excess lace in the same pocket for a clean, uncluttered setup inside the shell.
• Flexalon heat-moldable toe box — A stretchy, fast-drying toe box material that heat-molds to the shape of your feet while accommodating forefoot width naturally without pressure on the first and fifth metatarsal heads when you buckle down. Dries overnight in a sleeping bag for winter camping and expedition use.
• Moccasin toe box-tongue integration — Seamless construction over the instep that eliminates the pressure points created by traditional seam placement in a high-sensitivity area for skiers who have struggled with instep pain in standard liners.
• Asymmetrical tongue design — Built to reflect the natural asymmetry of the lower leg with more padding on the medial tibia side and less on the lateral shin for a more anatomically correct interaction between liner and shell.
• Fore and aft flex system for touring efficiency — A rear flex panel and front articulation points promote natural forward and backward flexion on the ascent without limiting range of motion inside the shell or compromising power transfer on the descent.
• Lycra stone exterior face fabric — An abrasion-resistant face fabric on the exterior of the Ultralon foam that holds up in the high-friction environment of a touring boot through seasons of hard use.
• Best paired with touring boots in the 1,000 to 1,250-gram weight category — Designed specifically for the geometry and flex requirements of progressive lightweight touring boots rather than heavier freeride or alpine boots.

Fit Note

The Espresso comes fine-tuned with the right amount of cork for ascending and descending in progressive touring boots. Additional cork can be added to tongue or ankle pockets for skiers who want a more dialed fit for descent-focused use. Pull tab should be centered on the leg for proper tongue positioning.
